Official Opening of Festival followed by Junior concert of young musicians.

A concert showcasing the talents of some young locals will take place in Quin Hall on the Friday of the festival weekend from 7.45 to 9.15pm - Quin Community Hall.

A representation of musicians will be provided by Theresa Reddan (Scoil na Mainstreach), Deirdre O’Brien Vaughan, Denis Liddy and Timmy Collins. Each of these tutors have helped to develop a continuing interest and talent in some area of the traditional arts in the Quin area over the past few years.

This concert will be particularly suited to families and admission is free.
