The Seisiún na h-Éireann CD features 50 musicians from 7 finalist groups recorded live at the grand finale concert held at Quin Community Centre

Seisiún na h-Éireann is a 3 day festival in the picturesque quiet village of Quin located just 6 miles from Ennis. The Festival celebrates the Traditional Irish Music Pub Session. A competition is held, the aim/purpose is to select the best group playing Irish traditional music in session form. The music sessions take place in the pubs of Quin. The winner gets 5000 Euro and other prizes also include Best Overseas session and Runners up.
Seisiún na h-Éireann is the only festival of its kind in the World. Groups of musicians representing their local pub session are invited to enter.

Apart from the competition, other events take place that makes for a very enjoyable weekend. These include: Concert of Local Junior Talent, Art and Craft Exhibition and Sale, Duck Race, 10K Fun Run Road Race, Fun Community Games, Tug O War, Sheaf Throwing, Guided Historical/Archaeological Local Tours, Fun Athletics Training Camp, Set Dancing Competition Camp; Céili.
